Things to Do: St. Patricks Day Dublin
We hope you are all as excited as we are about St. Patrick’s Day on Friday! For those of you coming up to Dublin with us there is loads of exciting things happening and we just wanted to give you a taste of what will be going on around the city!
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
This year’s theme for the parade is Ireland You Are… It will consist of a variety of floats, bands, and performances. It is going to be a huge production and massive event, so we encourage all of you to go!

Temple Bar
One of Ireland’s top destinations for going out, the Temple Bar area has loads of bars and places to get a pint. There are loads of cool places for you to spend your day if your planning on drinking for the day. Make sure you take a look!
EPIC Ireland Treasure Hunt
EPIC Ireland will be having a treasure hunt on St. Patrick’s day from 10-4 at their center where participants can learn about their Irish ancestors and names from around Ireland. Prizes will be awarded to all participants.
Cost: Free but pre-booking is required
Fun Fairs
There will be a variety of fun fairs with different rides and attractions around the city with several in walking distance of Temple Bar. So if your looking for some entertaining fun check these out. For a list of times and events click here
Dublin Zoo
The Zoo is going green for St. Patrick’s Day and has a variety of fun events going on in addition to just seeing the animals. They will have live traditional music, Irish dancing, face painting and more!
The Usual Attractions
While there are lots of things going on special for St. Patrick’s Day, a lot of the usual tourist attractions are open including the Guinness Storehouse, the Jameson Distillery, Phoenix Park, Kilmainham Gaol, and many more! If there’s something you’ve wanted to do in Dublin, St. Patrick’s Day may be a good opportunity!
